Our approach

Art has always explored the whole of human life, including love, grief, faith and conflict. We want KamZour to be a place where that exploration is possible. So when a request goes too far, Imagine usually adapts it, the way an artist would, rather than refusing: it keeps your idea and changes only what crosses a line. Some things we never allow, and those are declined. How Imagine works shows real examples and our test results.

1. Child safety

We have zero tolerance for any content that sexualises children.

• We never depict anyone under 18, or anyone who could appear to be under 18, in a sexual, romantic, suggestive or unclothed way.
• We don’t “adapt” these requests, for example by making the person older. They are declined.
• Accounts that attempt this are closed permanently, and we report them to the authorities.

2. Nudity and sexual content

We don’t allow sexual content, and we restrict nudity.

Not allowed:

• sexual activity, or content made to be sexually gratifying;
• genitals, or close crops that make a sexual focus of the body;
• nudity in photographic or photorealistic images, or anything made to pass as a real photograph.

Allowed, as museums and art schools allow it: the figure in fine art, such as life drawing, anatomy and pose-reference studies for artists, and figures in the manner of classical painting and sculpture, when made in a clearly artistic medium and presented in a calm, non-sexual way.

When a request goes past these lines, Imagine adapts it (for example, adding drapery or clothing, or showing tenderness instead of an act) or declines it.

3. Real people, privacy and impersonation

• We don’t depict real, identifiable people, whether famous or private. This includes lookalikes and “deepfakes”.
• A request naming a real person becomes a fictional character of the same type, without anyone’s likeness. If the likeness is insisted on, it is declined.
• Don’t share other people’s personal information, or impersonate anyone.

4. Respect for faith and culture

• Deities, sacred figures and symbols are shown the way their traditions show them: dignified, and never mocked, distorted or sexualised.
• We don’t show holy books or sacred symbols being destroyed or defiled.
• Where a tradition does not depict a figure at all, we respect that.

5. Hate, harassment and violence

• Nothing that attacks, dehumanises or incites hatred against people for who they are, including their religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
• No harassment or threats.
• Conflict, grief and danger can be painted, with restraint: no gore, and nothing that glorifies violence or encourages self-harm.

6. Animals

Nothing sexual or suggestive involving animals, including half-human, half-animal figures. Animals can be painted freely, never with cruelty.

7. Intellectual property

Respect other people’s creative work. Don’t use KamZour to copy someone else’s artwork, brand or characters in a way that infringes their rights. Rights holders can report infringement as our Terms of service describe.

8. Misuse of the service

No bots, scraping, spam, fraud, abuse of refunds or coins, or tricks designed to make our AI ignore these standards.

How we enforce these standards

• Before anything is painted. Every AI that writes for Imagine (the scene writer, Mithu and Edit) follows these standards. A request is adapted or declined before any picture is made, and declined requests cost nothing: coins are returned automatically.
• Testing. We regularly test Imagine with hundreds of requests, including attempts to trick it, and publish the results on How Imagine works.
• Reports. Our team reviews every report we receive.
• Actions. Depending on how serious a breach is, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close an account. Child-safety breaches are always reported to the authorities.

AI makes mistakes, and no system catches everything. We keep improving Imagine to catch more edge cases, and your reports help us do it.

Report something, or appeal a decision

• To report a picture or other content, choose “Copyright or content report” on Contact us.
• To appeal a decision about your account or content, or to raise a formal complaint, choose “Grievance” on Contact us, or write to our Grievance Officer, Suman Sharma, at admin@kamazour.com. We acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.
